Over time, Ise embroiders secret stories.

Whether embroidered, sewn, or printed, the thread is the basis for his creations. It builds, partitions, and assembles territories of paper and fabric. Bits of narration, elliptic stories are scaffolded. Traces and pathways sometimes cross over and pick up again, until it’s lost, or until we’ve lost the thread.
